Side-by-Side Tours (mid-June through mid-October)

Q: What is a side-by-side tour?
A: Experience the Polaris RZR & General vehicles through a fun guided tour of the beautiful, wooded trails north of downtown Harbor Springs all the way to the shores of Lake Michigan in Cross Village. Your guided tour adventure will be about 5 hours long. Reservations are highly recommended. Restrictions apply.

Q: Does 231 Adventures only offer guided side-by-side tours?
A: Yes, all of our side-by-side adventures are guided tours through some of the most scenic landscapes surrounding Harbor Springs. The guided tour allows everyone to safely experience the thrill of driving these amazing off-road machines while enjoying the scenery of northern Michigan.

Q: Where does the tour start?

Our current fleet consists of 2020 Polaris RZR XP 1000 and Polaris General XP 1000 vehicles. All vehicles are equipped with power steering. The RZR is more of a sporty ride and the General is more of a recreation side-by-side, but both are equally fun and perfect for the terrain on your tour!

Q: Are the RZRs & Generals easy to drive?
A: Yes, the Polaris RZR and Polaris General vehicles have the latest and greatest technology, including all-wheel-drive, electronic power steering and automatic (Centrifugal) gear box which makes them very capable of handling the off-road terrain. They are equipped with roll over protection and seat belts.

Q: What should I wear?
A: You should dress according to the weather conditions. We ride rain or shine, however, we will determine the safety of all tours and reserve the right to alter tours based on weather and terrain conditions. Keep in mind that the off-road vehicles have partial windshields so it may feel cooler than the actual temperature. Be aware that you will experience dust (and sometimes mud) on the tour so plan accordingly. Helmets and goggles are included and must be worn while vehicles are in motion. Close-toed shoes (sneakers) are mandatory. Please no flip-flops, sandals, or high heels.

Q: Am I responsible if there is damage to the vehicle?
A: We offer two Damage Waiver options that limit your out-of-pocket expenses should you damage the vehicle during your ride. The accidental damage waiver rental protection options are as follows:
